At this year’s IT Arena 2024 in Lviv, Impact Force, led by co-founder Nina Levchuk, made a significant impact by hosting a panel on the strategic integration of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles in tech products. The panel, titled “Strategic Implementation of Impact DNA and ESG in Tech Products,” emphasized the importance of ESG standards in Ukraine’s efforts toward European integration and in attracting foreign investment.
Nina Levchuk, who moderated the panel, highlighted the growth opportunities that come from embedding an impact-driven approach into business strategies. The discussion featured insights from industry leaders, including Zdenka Loncar (UN Women), Yanina Olkhovska (UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group), and Petr Vitek (Tilia Impact Ventures), who shared their expertise on leveraging ESG to drive innovation and sustainability in the tech sector.
Additionally, Nina Levchuk participated in a USAID Ukraine panel discussion focused on gender equality in cybersecurity. Titled “Striking the Balance: Turning Gender Equality in Cybersecurity into Action,” the panel explored the evolving role of women in IT and cybersecurity, particularly in light of Ukraine’s ongoing conflict. Nina Levchuk underscored the need to challenge persistent gender stereotypes, stating: “These issues must be addressed at all levels, from family and education to state policies.”
Impact Force expressed gratitude to the IT Arena organizers for providing a platform to discuss these pressing topics, which are crucial to Ukraine’s future in the tech and investment landscape.
