The Ukrainian NGO “Impact Force” announces a tender for the purchase of the services of a professional pitch trainer to prepare the participants of the “Energy Efficiency Innovators of Ukraine” program for short speeches at the Demo Day in front of potential clients and investors and guests of the event.
The services will be provided as part of the “Innovators of Energy Efficiency of Ukraine” program, which is aimed at forming a new generation of forward-thinking leaders and creating an inclusive ecosystem that will enable innovators in the energy sector to move Ukraine towards a resilient and sustainable future.
The “Energy Efficiency Innovators of Ukraine” program is implemented by Impact Force with the support of the “Promotion of Energy Efficiency and Implementation of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive in Ukraine” project, implemented by GIZ on behalf of the German government and co-financed by the Swiss government.
RELEVANCE
According to the World Bank, the war in general and targeted strikes have caused great damage to the Ukrainian energy sector. They have caused severe infrastructure damage, power outages, economic losses, security risks, and are hindering the country’s progress toward a sustainable energy future. Estimated damage is at least $1.2 billion, although the true extent of the destruction in Russian-controlled areas remains unclear due to limited information.
PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM
This initiative aims to identify players in the energy efficiency market and provide them with the skills and knowledge needed to make significant changes in the energy sector and the economy of Ukraine in general. The program is not limited to traditional business education as it not only meets the immediate business needs of the participants, but also develops a culture of sustainable and innovative energy solutions.
STRATEGIC GOALS AND MEASURES OF THE PROGRAM
The program will be reinforced by a nationwide communication campaign to promote and highlight the needs and challenges of the energy sector.
As part of the Program, we plan to implement the following measures to accelerate the transformation of the energy sector of Ukraine:
Development of a stakeholder map of at least 50 key organizations and enterprises from various fields that offer or produce innovative energy solutions in Ukraine.
Business needs assessment to identify and address immediate, mid-term and long-term needs of participants.
Creation of a network of innovative market players in the field of energy efficiency to lay a solid foundation for Ukraine’s sustainable energy future.
Provision of targeted expert advice and management assistance from first-class international and national experts to improve participants’ business plans and presentations, thereby increasing their commercial appeal to national and international buyers.
Organization of a demonstration day where the 30 finalists will meet together and meet international and national experts and potential buyers.
As a result, the participants of the Program will launch the processes of energy-efficient restoration and transformation of the market. In addition, five companies will be selected to participate in the Impact Business Acceleration Program.

ORGANIZATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
A legal entity or an individual entrepreneur under the legislation of Ukraine. Payment for goods/services will be made exclusively in non-cash form, in accordance with the concluded contract and act of performed works (services provided).
TECHNICAL TASK
The purpose of this tender is to select a qualified pitch coach to conduct training sessions with program participants in order to improve their public speaking skills and effective presentation to the audience.
SCOPE
- conducting 2 training sessions for program participants
- analyzing and providing feedback to program participants regarding performance and presentation
- providing personalized training strategies to each program participant
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CANDIDATE
- experience working with small and medium-sized businesses specializing in pitches and short speeches
- ability to work with different skill levels and experience of participants.
EVALUATION OF TENDER PROPOSALS
The Tender Committee will evaluate the bids.
The maximum score (70) for the price proposal will be given to the candidate with the most cost-effective proposal. Each subsequent price proposal will be evaluated accordingly and proportionally with a margin of 10 points from the highest score.
The price proposal must be fair and reasonable.
The maximum score (30) for the qualification proposal will be awarded to the candidate who meets all the requirements set forth above, as well as has evidence of relevant previous experience in successfully completing this type of work and projects.
